August 26, 2007:Family Prayer Guide Begins Starting on August 26, the entire church family will embark on a spiritual journey to bring God to the forefront of their lives. Each family will be given a prayer guide to instruct them during this time. August 30, September 27, October 25 and November 8, 2007: Days of Prayer and Fasting We will schedule prayer times with deacons and pastors and anyone who wants to join us at 7 p.m. on these four Thursdays. (See Bill Bright's 7 Basic Steps to Successful Fasting & Prayer.) October 14 - November 4, 2007: Challenge Phase During the Challenge Phase, a four-week stewardship series will be taught in all Small Groups of the church. These will coincide with Pastor Pete's message series on the Kingdom Initiative. October 20, 2007: All Night Prayer Vigil An all night prayer vigil will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Worship Center with a churchwide gathering of intercessors to be followed by small groups praying in one-hour shifts around the clock leading up the morning worship service. November 4 - 11, 2007: Media Fast Families will be encouraged to refrain from watching television or listening to radio, iPods®, computers, etc. in an effort to hear from God as they prepare to make this commitment. November 11, 2007: Celebration Sunday You won't want to miss this worship celebration! We will confirm the vision that God has given us for our church and community and celebrate the part God has given each of us in advancing that vision. |
