The Kentucky Employer's Guide to Preventing OSHA Fines & Citations

Guide to Preventing OSHA FinesA user-friendly resource to help you understand and satisfy the demands of OSHA and the needs of your employees. This guide contains the information you need to prepare for an OSHA inspection, understand your legal rights, and be aware of the consequences of non-compliance. OSHA Standards for General Industry

OSHA StandardsThe OSHA Standards for General Industry (29 CFR 1910) became effective July 2, 2001. This publication will help you avoid serious mistakes, fines, and penalties by giving you instant access to these standards. Although this is not an official OSHA publication, it reproduces the complete text of regulations contained in the official government version at Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1910. Also included are Part 1990 carcinogen policy with model standards; Part 1903 regulations on inspections, citations, and proposed penalties; and Part 1904 regulations covering occupational injury and illness recordkeeping and reporting. Additionally, 5(a) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (the "General Duty" clause) is incorporated. Cost: $36 for KY Chamber members and $48 retail, plus KY sales tax and shipping.
Forklift Manual

Forklift ManualThis practical manual incorporates the old parts of CFR 1910.178 of the Powered Industrial Truck Standard with the new changes which took place in section (I) of the standard. The manual directs you to key points of the standard, covers frequently asked questions, provides sample inspection forms and a sample data plate. Parts of the preamble to the standard are published in the manual to provide insight on how the standard was devised. The manual also provides a sample test and a miniature version of a slide presentation used to instruct the mandatory points of instruction required by the standard. Recordkeeping Manual

Recordkeeping ManualThis manual covers the reasons for the reform and goals of OSHA for the new recordkeeping standard. Both old and new (current as of January 2002) versions of the standard are covered and compared. Case studies, practical examples, new and old forms, and frequently asked questions will guide you through the seemingly complex standard. OSHA 10-Hr Course ManualDesigned for the OSHA novice, this manual presents an overview of OSHA's general industry standards and practices. It is also a good reference resource for more experienced safety professionals, as well. Topics include hazard communication, material handling, bloodborne pathogens, egress, walking and working surfaces, machine guarding, lockout/ tagout and several others. The manual contains an overview of the standard, a miniature slide presentation of both ESRWP and lockout/tagout, a sample energy control program outline, and a sample lockout/ tagout procedure.
